I'd do it, for either of Yandle/Zidlicky if its the league in your sig.
So I have a guy in my league that may go for this since hes somewhat lacking in the offence department and Hertl is still unproven. Okposo is most like getting over 60pts, but I already have Tavares and I was going to throw in either Zidlicky or (if he doesnt take that) Yandle. I need me somemore secondary stats without replacing too much offense. My only question is: given Hertl may not be 100% all season (thanks Brown) is this something worth doing with either Zidlicky or Yandle?

I would do it if you're giving up Zidlicky but not for Yandle.
It is, I went ahead and sent over the Zidlicky/Okposo feelers, well see what happens.
Not even with Neal in Nashville now? Weber should be able to match Yandles PPP no prob this year and, aside from SOG, has Yandle beat in every cat in my league. I understand this is also factoring in how Hertl will do in comparing this trade but Weber is such a great fit in my leagues cats.

Weber's awesome, no question, I just think that the gap between Yandle and Zidlicky is pretty massive as is the gap between my certainty about Hertl vs. Okposo. Yandle is a bridge too far for me, even though Weber is the best guy in the deal.
Ultimately, if Zidlicky is an option here, why not go that route?
Oh no doubt, started off with the Zidlicky trade first, but was wondering if tossing Yandle in there may be pushing it over the edge to being too much in his favor or not. I see what youre saying though, its definitely a risky one with Yandle in there because Hertl could get hurt and I wouldve lost that trade big time, moreso than with Zid in the mix.
Thing is, he may counter me with Seabrook instead of Weber, at which case this entire thing reshuffles.

Yeah, sounds like he doesn't want to part with Weber. Hows okposo+zidlicky or Johnson for hertl+Seabrook sound? I'm not as pumped but still maybe...
Thing is I need secondaries which Seabrook has and am seeing schedule conflicts with the fact I have 3a dedicated RWs.
I haven't yet started talking to him about yandle, we'll see if anything comes from that. Definitely more risk on my side of the thing, but what I would gain from Weber in secondary stats and the potential upside from hertl is just too good, it got my gambling ears all perked up.
is your league a points league or a categories league, your signature is pretty confusing in that regard
Cats, just a basic H2H league. Ah, I see what you mean; changed it.

Butler, Russell, Grossman, Gunnarsson, Schenn, Stuart and Orpik are there plus a few more randoms, but those are the top.
