I'm offering Galchenyuk + 6th overall pick (using the fact that the other guy is a little lean on goalies and has Niemi as his main goalie......and selling him on the fact that Stalock is likely to still be available at 6).

Am asking for Hall and a mid-round pick.


Am pretty sure that I'd be doing OK here, but what is the general feeling out there for where Galchenyuk tops out? (I see Hall as a 90 point player over the next several seasons)

I am also pretty sure you'd be doing ok there. Your trading partner? Not so much. It would take a lot more than that to pry Taylor Hall away from most managers.

Am not so sure it's as lopsided as you imply though.....Galchenyuk is a nice asset who could be a point/game type player eventually. Stalock could be the starting goalie on a decent NHL club by season's end

Doesn't make me feel better... not surprised clearly. But I will be waiting with bated breath to see if you can land Hall for Gally and ANY draft pick short of the first overall in 2015. Here's hoping!

The offer itself is very one sided... add in the fact that you asked for a + to go along with Hall.. Agree with Havana... you are selling on a lot of 'what if's / could bes'.

Never know what you can get when you pitch an offer, but i am sure in many leagues that would be a quick decline.

I can't believe he considered that for any period of time. What a horrible offer. If you get him to bite on anything involving Galchenyuk and picks (even the 2014 first overall) for Hall, that's an incredible steal. Galchenyuk as a point per game player seems incredibly optimistic to me.

I think previous posters are underestimating how many fantasy GMs there are who love to overpay for potential. I could see this deal happening in a few of my leagues if the right owners were involved (admittedly they are all salary cap leagues). These are the same owners who put out a trade block and list untouchables as Nick Bjugstad and Anthony Mantha while they are shopping Duncan Keith.

For the other guy. So yeah. Basically I think you have no chance, but all the power to you if it works.
