Long story short... We're going from 9 to 6 keepers. League in signature.

I have more than six keepers. Tried making trades for picks to no avail.

Malkin Getzlaf Perry and Giroux are locks. Too many "c's" but we have 4 utility spots next year so I'm not worried about positional scarcity with these players. That leaves me with picking two of the following:

Kunitz
Zeterberg
Weber
Letang
Fleury
Crawford

LW, D and G.

I have my thoughts, but I'd like to hear the consensus of the forum.

Malkin and or Giroux have winger eligibility also depend on which site you see. If you have 4D spot to fill, I will go With Shea Weber for one keeper for sure, this guy is an absolutely stud. You also have 3 goaltenders spot to fill, so i would secure at least one spot there. Do you prefer Pittsburgh or Chicago ?

Weber is an easy choice for me. It really comes down to what goalie you like more. The uncertainty around MAF makes me nervous so I would probably go with Crawford as my 2nd keeper.

That's a lot of goalies to start. I'd be keeping Fleury and Crawford in that case. Both are kind of average for Save% but should do wonders for you in the Wins category.

Weber / Crawford are the two for me as well. Got to make sure you have a goalie and D-man.
There will be more available players to draft.

Weber and Fleury for me.

Reasons for Fleury: He's going to get you wins. In the last four years, no one has more wins.

Also, he's a little underrated when it comes to save percentage. Last four years, he's got a .916 combined save percentage (tied for 19th in the league over that span with at least 100 games played). But for comparison's sake, in the last four years, Quick has a .918 save percentage. Price and Rinne are at .920. So it's not like he's that far off what some elite goalies do.

He's going to get wins, and he's going to be competitive in save percentage. You use no other stats. So you know he's going to be money in your league.

I'm with MD here - keep Fleury and Crawford - Weber is redraftable here, not so sure a starting goalie from a winning team will be.

By keeping the two goaltenders, you'd be having two top 10-15 goaltender every night. Not bad at all.

It would be nice if you could keep a D too. Letang is too much of a risk. Weber is a star.

It all come down to Fleury, Crawford and Weber. The question you have to ask yourself is if there's going to be more proven G at the draft with 30 + wins or more D available with 45 + points. That's how you will have to decide which of those 3 to take.

5 player cats vs 2 goalie cats. I would go Weber as the 5^th, then Fleury as the 6^th. MAF gets wins and has a solid S%. He’s in a contract yr too, could perform way above expectations.

Kunitz and Weber for me; with only 60 players kept you should be able to address Goaltending through the draft quite easily.
