In my top 10, he would be right at #10.
In points-only, one-year leagues where do you have Ovechkin ranked among forwards? He's not in my top 10 but I'm curious where most have him ranked.
In my top 10, he would be right at #10.

Each tier is pretty close IMO. I expect a bounce back year for Ovechkin right around 80 points. Gun to my head I guess I have him 6th.

because my league uses RW as a position I rank him in the top 5 due to having a 85-90 pt RW is more valuable than a 90-95 pt C
In my opinion anyway.
Crosby (100-110)
Tavares (85-95)
Malkin (83-93)
Giroux (80-90)
Ovechkin (78-88)
Getzlaf (75-85)
Stamkos (74-84)
Hall (73-83)
Kessel (72-82)
Perry (65-90) --> Flip with Seguin, Benn or Kopitar if you want a safer pick (71-81)

He is right around the 10 spot for me but there a couple of guys who could sneak past him (ie Backstrom, Hall)
Crosby
Giroux

Tavares

85 points, but if he breaks 100, it would not surprise me. Also, if he falls to 75, it would not surprise me.

This list is pretty close. OV is incredibly agrivating this year. Check out almost any mock. He is still top 5 almost everywhere, especially in points only. Whether it's warranted or not is irrelevant. Thats what he is worth.
I still think he is an 85 point player. But these lists are missing the most underrated points only player.... Backstrom. Career PPG and if OV is 85+ then Backstrom is 80+.
If you are drafting, I would let someone else draft him at 4-6 and then laugh all the way to the bank as you take Giroux or Backstrom. But if you are trading for OV, good luck. He is still 100 point player if you want to trade for him (perception).
As I said..... Aggravating!!!

In our league, the Ovechkin owner has been shopping OV and still hasn't found a buyer. His targets as I have heard from chatting with other owners have been Benn(from me), Seguin, and MacKinnon. He is wanting to get a high pick and one of those players for his OV.
In a one year league Ovechkin has 80+ value. In keeper leagues his value seems to be falling fast.

If I recall, there was one of these threads about 3-6 months ago and I had Ovechkin at 14 or 15.
In points-only, there are a lot of players I like better.
His even-strength production has been declining hard and fast.
I mean, he put up 80pts last year... but 40+ of those were on the PP.
If the PP isn't clicking, could be a sub 80pt year.
By even-strength points alone, OV finished 56th in the NHL last year.
Yup.
You read that right.
56th.
Right behind Tyler Bozak and Jiri Hudler.
