Malkin is the best player in the deal, that's almost always the side that wins. This is no exception. It's not a terrible deal but Malkin is a stud, especially when you can only keep 6

Not for the league in his sig. He keeps 31 in the league being mentioned.

I like the deal, especially if you need help in goal.

Id like to see the rest of the team before I can say if its good.

Do you need the help on D and in Net? If so it's a good deal, if not I'd stay pat

So its a limited keeper, you already are keeping two goalies and you want to deal a skater (one of the leagues best at that) for another goalie?? I understand it's a start 2G but surely you can draft a 3rd goalie. I just don't understand the reasoning for the deal unless you have future plans with one of your other goalies you are already keeping.

Basically, why are you wanting to move Malkin?

Edit - Holy crap, I am just seeing that this is not for the team in your sig. Wow. More details are needed.

If you do this trade, who's your 2nd goalie going to be? In your OP, you do say you start 2G.

I took this team over a year ago and don't plan on competing for four years, there are no minimum starts in our league.
