Default Cam Fowler vs. Roman Josi

Looking for some insight. This is my first time posting on the forum but I read it daily and have enjoyed the reading. I'm in the middle of a major rebuild with my team.

With that said, based off of the scoring categories in my league listed in my signature, who is the better player between Cam Fowler and Roman Josi now and in the future?

Thanks again for any insight provided.

It's pretty close but with your cats, I prefer Roman Josi.

    Coin flip right now, IMO.

Josi is going to have Jones nipping at his heels for playing time. Fowler doesn't have as much competition, so I'd likely go with him.

I'd agree that it's close to a coin flip but I'd go in the other direction.

Josi is by far the top left-handed D for the Preds so he'll keep getting solid minutes with Weber and on occasion with Jones too.

Fowler on the other hand will have to contend with Lindholm and Theodore let alone Vatanen on the PP.

I see Josi as having the better job security as far as his playing partner and opportunities to produce are concerned.

In those settings they are very very close. I'd rather have Fowler personally. More upside, better team, less competition for PP time now and in the future. Not to say there isn't competition in Ana, because there is, but it's not as dangerous as facing Seth Jones and Ryan Ellis who are both PP QB material.

Josi actually tallied 36 points in his final 55 games last season and looked to have really turned a corner. Fowler is decent, but as I noted in a recent Cage Match I just don't see him having a clear path toward more than 40 points, and that's despite his young age and him entering his magical fourth year.

Exactly my thoughts. The notion that Jones will usurp Josi in the near future really have no factual basis but I keep reading people posting it. Josi over Fowler for me.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
