Default Seguin or Giroux, multicat ?

    Hi guys,

Seguin or Giroux, league in sig ?

I see a slight advantage for Giroux, but Seguin's upside is higher imo.

    What do you find ?

    Thanks !

Tough one. I have pondered this many times in my league (in sig) where the categories are similar. As much as I want to say Giroux, I honestly think I have to go with Seguin. He's younger, and he finished with ~300 shots last year despite his first couple months having proportionately fewer shots as he got comfortable with Benn. If you look at his shot rate after new years, he could be a 330 shot guy going forward. Yes, Giroux hits more, but I give extra weight to shots in my elite forwards as shots are far harder to come by.

It is super, super, super close though. I'd nearly call it a wash. So the deciding factors for me are shots and age. Have to decide one way or another, right? haha.

This is a close one for me. Without hits, it'd basically be a tossup for me. But I'd go with Giroux with the hits included.

Well looking at your team - my response would be 'who cares'. What a rock crusher even for a 10 team league. What position eligibility do these guys have in your pool?

We've got the Yahoo positions. They've both got C/RW.

I'd like Giroux. Yes Seguin is younger but young doesn't equal more upside. I think Giroux still has 90 point seasons ahead of him. Seguin hasn't got there yet (assuming he does at some point). Giroux has more of the truculence categories covered which makes it an even easier decision.
