Probably OEL, I see him ready to take over the defence from Yandle. Letang probably has the biggest upswing, but I'm not interested in his 40-50 games per year risk.

OEL for me, best combination of points/health and multi-cat potential in your league.

It's close but I think I would take Yandle. I think he outproduces OEL in pretty much every stat cat but hits and quite possibly +/- (but thats a crap shoot anyways).

    Yandle for me as well.

I'm not willing to even consider drafting Letang anymore - all the durability of a bone china wrecking ball.

Every season for the last 3 has been "The Year OEL Takes Over" - and yet he has yet to surpass Yandle even once. Not betting on the OEL > Yandle bandwagon until he shows he can do it.

Also Yandle hasn't missed a single game to injury in 5 years.

I would probably go with Yandle and I am a huge OEL fan.

OEL will out-hit Yandle by around 100 hits but that's the only cat that he can be counted on to best Yandle in. Looking over their last 3 season Yandle gets more PIM more SOG and more PPP and more points in general and aside from last season their +/- has been essentially the same.

    Also what is PO?

The whole Yandle vs OEL thing I am struggling with. Yandle isn't old by any stretch and the last two years if you prorate last year a 50 point + defencemen but OEL is suppose to be the next big thing. I feel Yandle doesn't get much respect around here but when I ran the numbers from the rankings of NHL,ESPN,YAHOO,THN and Dobber he came out with the best average rank of 57.4, OEL 69.2, and Letang 80.6

I'd go OEL. 5-year difference plus he'll soon outpoint Yandle, and his SOG are trending up (199 last year). By next year I'd bet you won't be able to trade Yandle for OEL straight up.

hmm okay I got the third pick so if OEL falls to me I will take him, then Iggy, then Yandle, Gabby, Letang.... in that order I have options to draft a center but all thats on the board is Kesler,Little, Statsney which I don't like enough to take over any of the previously mention...

You're doing the double thread thing here. See my response there. In my opinion sheer lunacy to pick Iggy over Yandle if OEL is gone.
