Strangley enough, I'd probably take Iginla if it's just for one year only. Gabby doesn't offer many cats across the board and the injuries scare me too much right now. Both guys could be playing 1st line minutes this year so Iginla is the safer pick for all cats while Gaborik may give you better pts with the higher risk.

I would take iggy as well... Col is an offensive team (in a good way) and he will either line-up with Duchene or mackinnon - which is a pretty good deal for him!

Hmm any other thoughts? I am thinking of drafting with my third overall pick on the redraft ether Iggy, Gabby, Yandle, OEL or Letang.... I am going for the win this year so I want to put good complimentry players around me. Neal got mover to LW so my right wings could look like Ovi, Kessel, and Iggy pritty good or my D could look like for a start Subban, Yandle or OEL... not bad ether. The center aval are crap like Statsney or Kesler in which I don't think will out produce much guys I can get in the 2nd round/third like Little/Barkov

I don't know how you risk rolling the dice on an injury prone Gaborik playing on an anemic Kings team. That's not to say he can't outscore Iginla this year, it just seems unlikely.

You can pick up Yandle or OEL instead of Iggy or Gabby? In an 8-keeper league? I'm drafting OEL for sure, maybe Yandle but I prefer OEL in a keeper, but either of those guys over Iggy or Gabby.

Also, your league categories are goalie-lite, only 3 categories out of 11, so who are you dropping to keep Bernier? Depending on that you might want to drop Bernier and keep another winger or a Cman.

Iginla for me - He's got at least one big year left in him - plus MacKinnon is probably the best centre he'll play a full season with (though Krejci is no slouch).

hmm okay I got the third pick so if OEL falls to me I will take him, then Iggy, then Yandle, Gabby, Letang.... in that order I have options to draft a center but all thats on the board is Kesler,Little, Statsney which I don't like enough to take over any of the previously mention...

Why in God's name would you take Iggy over Yandle?

I'd even venture to say you should take Letang over Iggy, if healthy he's a monster and easily better than Iginla in a keeper.

I am going for win now I doubt any of these guys crack my keepers maybe OEL or Yandle. I figure Iggy will have a 30/30 season with good pims,hits,+/- and SOG. This would make my wingers the best in the league...

Even if you want to win now, you have to think about trade value too, especially in an 8-keeper 14 team league. OEL and Yandle have immensely more trade value, there are far fewer 50-pt dmen than there are 60 pt forwards, and Iggy is 37!!! That plus you've already got a killer set of wingers there, Iggy is just an add-on. And even for win-now, I think OEL or Yandle bring you closer to the win this year than Iggy does. Am I missing something here?

Thanks thats the type advice I was looking for... I was torn between another stud D or another great multi cat forward I think I will go with the D unless anyone else has any other insight...
