Default Team / Keeper audit... Rep where i can.

As we are getting closer to submitting our keepers and draft prep, figured it was a good time to get some thoughts on any glaring gaps with my squad i should try to upgrade / fortify during our draft.

League settings in signature. I recently pulled off a trade which saw me move Marchand and Khudobin (both drops for me) for a 3rd round pick from the team that finished last in our pool last year. I felt Marchand hit his ceiling and Monahan may at least match those totals.

    So this leaves me with:
    C Duchene / Seguin
    RW Mackinnon / Neal
    LW Nich / Landeskog
    D Fowler / J Schultz / Hedman / Barrie
    G Rask / Varly
    Util Monahan / J Allen

we need to keep min 2 players per position and may only use one util spot for a goalie which i am using on Allen in STL as i see him as the future there.

Was was trying to acquire Benn for Neal + but it has been weekssince i have submitted that proposal and have not heard back - so i will consider that a dead offer and will move on from it.

I did win my pool last year based on the strength of my G (as both Rask and Varly out pointed Crosby in our league).

I think i am pretty set as far as my roster goes and how it is aging etc. but wanted to see if the 'Nation' saw any areas in need of an upgrade.

Thanks for your time / thoughts!

If you can swing Neal for an upgrade then that would be nice, otherwise your team looks ready to challenge again. Good work!

Roster looks good to me, lots of quality young stars and your goalies are stellar.

I'd probably want to upgrade one of your defensmen, Hedman is a guy to build around but I feel like Shultz/Barrie/Fowler is a bit risky as they are all young and more prone to ups and downs, maybe see if you can package and upgrade to a more established guy. Maybe an OEL type could be had if you packaged up one of those 3 with a Monahan type?
