Who do you think Boston moves out to clear cap space to sign Krug and RSmith and any guesses where they are headed?

    +/-1 point
    A- 1 point
    G- 1 point
    GWG- 2 points
    PPA - 1 point
    PPG- 2 points
    SHG- 2 points

As you can see, our league places importance on plus/minus (equivalent to a goal/assist). A player in our league can score a goal, be -2 on the night, and end up being -1 when its all said and done.

Question - How can I use Analytics to evaluate players in Fantasy Hockey?

David Johnson of Stats.HockeyAnalysis.com says I should follow this formula on his site:

    "IPP + GF20 - GA20 = Score
Draft guys with highest overall score.
Preference for guys with higher IGP, then higher IAP."

Dobber- Do have a better formula using analytics to evaluate players in my league with these scoring settings?

Your 2 cents is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!
Is that for your team in your sig? It says keep 18. You don't have many dmen so I would probably go with Rielly. Otherwise, if you are happy with your D, then Scheifele.

What kind of season do you expect from Huberdeau & Barkov in Florida ? Are they both good for 50+ this year and does Huberdeau shake his sophomore slump and start to live up to his hype ? I still see him as a 75-80pt guy in his prime and Barkov 70 +.
Your thoughts ? I've been targeting Hubs for a few months now as a buy low and I think I'm getting close.

Also, how do you see top 6 playing out in TB ? Particularly interested in Kucherov, Killorn and Drouin as I think Palat/Stamkos and Johnson will spend alot of time together.

    Thanks for this.

I haven't read much on Dustin Brown this off-season but he is coming off a terrible 27 pt season.
Why did that happen and what should owners expect this coming season? Is he still top 6 material?

    OEL
    Ehrhoff

I now need to pick between Safe guy Carlson or Stash N'Save Rielly (who may never be so cheap again ... cause I already own him).

Sick of asking so need to make this final. Who takes the last spot?

    tks
That is a tough call for sure, but I would go with Carlson. I'm very interested to see how he performs under Trotz and I have a hunch it will be special. I'm going to be very high on him for one more year...just one more

I am looking to draft a goaltender for my 30 team salary cap dynasty league. I currently have Tuukka Rask, Darcy Kuemper and Laurent Brossoit so would like to add another prospect. My first pick starts the 3rd round. Who do you draft first:

    Kirsters Gudlevskis
    Connor Hellebuyck
    Joni Ortio
    Nathan Lieuwen
or a goaltender chosen in the 3rd round or later in this year's NHL draft?

    Thank you.
