Who do up I keep?

Long time viewer and supportive of Dobber, very little posting....

In a very competitive league. 12 team roto. Finished 3rd last year, but fought goaltending issues all year... Actually thought Dubnyk was going to do something great at one time... . We get to keep 12 out of a 26 player roster

Active 4C, 6W, 6D, 2G
Reserves- 8, no IR
Categories: G, A, +/-, BS, FOW, Hits, PIM, SOG, STPTS (Special Team Points), GAA, SPct, Wins

Team is as follows:
C: Crosby, Spezza, Granlund, Jordan Staal, Garbutt
W: Burrows, Gerbe, Hartnell, Marleau, Pavelski, Stempniak, Downie, Kassian
D: Karlsson, Gudas, Barrie, Irwin, Niskanen, Macdonald, Fowler
G: Lundqvist, Gibson, Khodobin, Andersen, Lehner

I am thinking these guys are obvious keepers:

Crosby
Spezza,
Hartnell,
Marleau
Pavelski
Karlsson
Gudas
Lundquist,
Gibson

That's 9. Here are my other 3 I believe...

Andersen - not sure about Khodobin as you really need 2 solid starters
Macdonald... Could be quite valuable as his plus minus will improve and is a shot blocking machine
Granlund

But that does leave these notable guys out...
Burrows, Barrie, Niskanen, Downie, Kassian, Fowler, Khodobin

Thoughts? In the past other gm's do tend to drop more quality D than forwards - especially W

Do you have a min games played for goalies? I'm somewhat confused why you would have 5 goalies when there are only 3 goalie cats and only 8 wingers when you start 6. In a format like that and only 12 teams, I would think that goalies aren't really valuable, especially for you because you already have a stud in Lundy.

It always comes down to what position is typically easier to redraft. My guess is dmen go later in your league.

Andersen makes sense to lock up the Anaheim tandem. Granlund is a good choice too imo.

After that one of Fowler, Niskanen, Barrie makes sense to me. If you need to cover the other cats with MacDonald then that could be the play. I wouldn't over think the last keeper. If you need points take Fowler, if you need to take care of the other cats take MacDonald. Cheers.
