    Default Motley Crues Fairwell Tour.

Has anyone had the opportunity to see them yet? If so what did you think? I caught them last week out on Long Island and thought the show one of the best I've seen in some time. From the sound, to the stage show and pyro I thought they did a great job and it was a nice tribute to the fans that have enjoyed them for so many years. Alice Cooper opened and put on a great show as well...he still kicks ass after all these years. His sound now is more metal than it's ever been. He's ramped up all the old tunes to give them a kick. I took my 14 year old son with me and we had a blast together. His first two concerts were Iron Maiden and Motley...I'm hoping to take him to see Judas Priest this fall as well.

I saw them back in NJ in 2009. They put on one hell of a show back then.

As far as their farewell tour, I am sure there will be another one in a few years when they all need some more $$. LOL!

Nope, part of the pre-tour hype was the fact that they all signed contracts stating they will not tour together again. I'm not sure if this as Motley or in general, but Motley Crue will be no more. They're not like Kiss. lol

I saw them in their prime at maple leaf garden back in 1987 , skydome in 91 and two years ago at molson amp

Mick is 64 and has some shitty health issues for his line of work (ankylosing spondylitis , scoliosis)

I suspect out of respect to Mick ,they will retire the band rather than tour in future years with a replacement.

To his credit, he put on a great show...I know how bad he must have been hurting. That's a great tribute to a band-mate for them to go out like that. I saw them open for Ozzy back in the day when Shout At The Devil came out....man where they good. I also saw the Theatre Of Pain and Dr. Feelgood tours as well. Can't remember if I saw Girls, Girls, Girls though.

I saw them in Chicago a few weeks ago for the 2nd time. Good show. My niece was at some promotion earlier in the week and met Vince Neil and took some pictures with him. She said he was a cool, down-to-earth guy.

It sucks being on the East Coast as we don't get many of the biggest acts any more than once in a lifetime. The Crüe came to Halifax years ago while I was away, and I never saw them. Too bad too, because the Motley Men are one of my favorite bands of all time. Glad you were able to take it in.
