Keeper league points only who do you take long term and has the highest upside? Looking for a long term keeper Ovi 29 Giroux 26 is a factor. I got a young team that will be competitive in 2-3 years.

If position does matter, then I think LW/RW ovie's value gets a bump. Ovie may not be scoring 100pts any more, but I don't foresee Giroux hitting that bar either. They're close but Ovie's ability to explode and the fact that I don't like him means he likely the more valuable player now and over the next 3 years.

Ovi is RW in Yahoo Giroux is C/RW in Yahoo. WE go by those positions. I'm looking for beyone 2-3 years when i get competitive. Ovi will be 32ish by then giroux 29 hitiing his prime when I got the best shot to win. The question is will ovi be on a decline into his 30's and giroux on a upswing still making him the better keeper target over ovi.

Giroux at 29 will be nearing the end of his prime, not entering it. I'd take Giroux out of the two but if both are on your team and you're not competitive for 2-3 years (not sure how that's possible to have both and not be competitive) I would look into trading both.Originally Posted by ds760
