Anybody ever been to Lee ​in Toronto? I've heard great things about it and might be in Toronto in a couple months and was wondering if it would be a good place to take clients? Wondering what the food is like, the ambiance, location etc, thank you!

It's upscale for sure but I'm not paying for it
Supposed to be great food and a cool restaurant.

It's an excellent restaurant, I'm a big fan of Susur Lee though, are you targeting this restaurant specifically because you want this type of atmosphere/cuisine or from the reviews? There's a ton of really great restaurants in the city, for most price points and tastes

Yes, I've never tried his food but I've heard he's an amazing chef, very creative and unique style! Do you recall any of the stuff you tried when you ate there?
Basically it would be a dinner with some important clients and their significant others so money is no object because it will all go on the corporate card

If you want to take the clients I usually go to one of the distillery district Restos, cool neighbourhood and tends to be a hit. Pure Spirits is a good choice.

At Lee you should try the Peking Duck with foi gras, it's a crowd pleaser.

Thanks! Is the distillery district nearby to this place (Lee)? Maybe we could hit that up after our meetings for a few drinks then go to dinner?
Peking Duck with Foie Gras sounds amazingly decadent, that's the kind of thing I want to try, I confess I'm planning this both for my clients and for my own selfish ends

Haha may as well! Unfortunately Lee is not in the distillery district, it's in the entertainment district, But there's some good places there too. I believe Bar Chef is close enough to Lee, it's a really intersting cocktail bar, expensive but it's on the company card!
