I like the consistency of bergeron more
Too much uncertainty in SJ. Pavelski also had a career year last season. That will be tough to repeat.
Also, remember that Bergeron finished the year strong.
Joe Pavelski
Patrice Bergeron
In a keeper, H2H format that rewards a single point for each of the following cats:
G, A, PPP, SHP, GWG, PIM, +/, SOG, Hits, Blks, FOW
Joe Pavelski
or
Patrice Bergeron
It is a salary cap, league but theres only about 500K between the two.
Please take the time to look at the cats involved and dont just jump on the points aspect (Its a natural reaction, I know).
So, who do you love??

I like Bergeron more. His plus-minus will be one of the best, and he's always at the top of the faceoff leaders. Since he's elite in those two, I prefer Bergeron.

I'm with Pavelski here. He can be played as a winger which makes his FW more valueable (although the number is smaller than Bergie's). Just assuming here, but he reminds me of Sharp a couple of ears ago. Sharp ha a terrific season because if an increased role ith the team. Peopl thought this to be a career year, too - and all Sharp did was to repeat this effort ever since. I might be wrong, but Pavs role on the Sharks is sure not to get smaller...
And he shots way more than Bergeron, too.

Multi cat .... I like Bergeron. 60 something points on a consistent basis, decent PP time, kills penalties, logs huge minutes, king of +/- ... dude does it all.
Wow I actually thought Bergeron was older to Little Joe but he's actually a year younger. Anyway, it's Bergeron for me in a multi cat.
As Rocky71 said, he does it all.

Overall they're actually pretty evenly matched so you may want to consider which cats you need the most and if you need a winger or a center more. I can see arguments either way

I'm going with Bergeron in your format.
Bergeron. He'll give you pretty much everything, consistently.
Also, Pavelski had an incredible .182 shooting percentage last season, and it's highly unlikely that he's that successful again, as that's way out of the norm for him.
I'm a huge Bergeron fan, but in my league (very similar to yours), I actually prefer Pavelski. His FOW from wing are a nice bonus.
Can't go wrong with either, IMO but I'm giving the slight edge to Bergie. He consistently delivers 55-65 points, +20 or better, modest PPP and SOG numbers and goes beast-mode on faceoffs. Not sure what to say about Pavelski this year, given the situation in San Jose -- he could have another huge year, or it could be a disaster. I think Bergeron is the safe, reliable choice where Pavelski might be a little bit more of a risk this year.

pavy sure was a sexy pick last year... But I too think I'm leaning to the consistency of Bergeron. Then I remember a recent article here entitled B Stings. Reminding me of the fact that no one bruin seems to stand out as an offensive leader. Makes me rethink that strategy. Give me Joey Pav. He probable won't compete with Bergeron on FOW but I think he continues to find his own on that team. Sooner or later San J needs to turn the reigns over to the kids only further enhancing their value.
