My Vasilevski or Mrazek for His Morgan Reilly
Seems like i've been hunting....and striking out on defenseman for my young team that just completed it's expansion year...I want to get a cornerstone type defenseman on my team for a very long time...maybe my best defenseman in terms of potential (which is hard to do with Pietrangelo and OEL in my dcorps). I finally have a an offer I feel I have to consider and would love input.

Typically I would say keep Vas but Mrazek and played great and his time seems much sooner then Vas. Plus the other owner is a huuuuge wings fan and literally owns half the 1st rounders in our league in 2015. If he land Jack Eichel (he won't trade my Connor McDavid) I would be able to land him using Mrazek. Having said that I think Reilly might have the potenial to be just as valuable as a Jack Eichel. Maybe I am wrong. Even if I'm right maybe Mrazek ends up being the man for a decade on the wings...in which case I'm wrong anyway. A penny for your thoughts..and rep!.

I tend to agree with the above, that core on defense is great I don't think using either one of those goalies to add another D is the best use of resources. I would say hold onto them.... Upgrade in goal or at forward or just keep them. Now if Eichel comes available for Mrazek jump all over it, but until then I'd pass on this deal.

Well I haven't made these deals yet, and I am hesitant to say the pieces coming with other managers in my league frequently visiting this site.
The idea is i would be landing a marquee big time young forward...probably the best forward in my group, for big haul that includes Shattenkirk and Schultz, Elias Lindholm, the 2nd overall pick in this year's draft, and more.

Put Pavs with Vas or Mrazek and upgrade your goalie spot to go with Bobrovsky.

I agree upgrade your goalies? As well, that kind of package could probably get you a player like Ovi?
But hey you won't know till you try.

I'd rather own Mrazek or Vasilevsky than Rielly given your current team. I think both goalies will be big time studs down the road, and your D is already really solid. I like the idea of going after someone like Seguin with the package you were discussing above, and I think you should be trying to upgrade Pavelec as well. If you're going to move Mrazek or Vasilevsky, it better be for a goaltender.

If you're wanting to land Rielly, I'd try to deal Mrazek before Vasilevskiy, but in the end I'd deal either to get Rielly.

I'd stick with what you have. Your young Gs are in a good situation which matters a lot with Gs.
And maybe it's just me, but I get the impression that there have been many overhyped young Ds in the past few years and others that had a big impact that you could have for nothing. E.g. J.Schultz vs. R.Josi come to mind... Reilly is far from a guarantee while the next Josi is sure to be had on FA.
