Evaluate my boxpool template please

Hey guys,

In relation to my earlier post about boxpools, I decided to quickly put one together.

I would appreciate any input on my boxes, and see if I missed anything or anyone. Any improvements need to be made?

Pretty nice, though I would actually consider forcing linemates into the same box.
Otherwise, you'll get a lot of box pools that look the same.

If somebody picks OV in box#1, they'll probably pick Backstrom in box #2.
I'd consider pushing Backstrom into box #1, Getzlaf into box #2.
And I'd consider putting both Sedins in one box.

I'd also switch Kopitar & Pavelski.
And switch Parise & Toews.

I read through them quickly and all but about 2 or 3 were close enough they took a some solid pause and thought.

A couple thoughts
Crosby- I'd be tempted to not include him to be honest. Its hard because he's the best player in the game and everyone will want to pick him but I'd expect everyone to pick him. a Stamkos/Ovechkin/Getzlaf/Malkin box is a lot harder than the same box with Crosby. I know you want to keep it simple but a Crosby -10 or Crosby -15 option would take a lot more thought then box #1 as is.

Karlsson- same issue with Karlsson in that everyone will likely take him nullifying the top 5 D-man box. The nice part with him is you could slide him up into one of the 65-70 point forward boxes to mix it up. Again I realize this is slightly more complex but adds some intrigue.

Sedins - I'd probably put them in the same box because they are so close but the guys you've got them surrounded with are both good enough. Seems like guys will either go "all-in" on the twins and pick both or skip them all together.

edit: Also I'd flip Seguin and Pavelski as well as right now I easily take Seguin in his current box.

great thoughts guys. Actually I like Karlsson in a forward box because he is head and shoulders above the rest.

Crosby is tough cause he can easily get hurt a lot. I'll check into the -10 kind of options!

great point on Halak. I'll add him in, and drop Scrivens out. Quick/Niemi swap if fair as well I think, so I'll change that

Many similar comments as the others pertaining to Buff and Seguin. Would maybe swap Tavares and OV.

Surprised youn don't have any of the 1A/1B of the top goalie tandems in either Elliot or Gibson. Better options than Pavelec I would think

Edit: I mean to swap Buff with Kronwall who I think is a tad bit too high
