    Default Multi Cat Roto Keepers

Appreciate the help I get on here. I have a strong team and as such keepers are hard to choose.
We play standard categories plus hits PIMs and blocks but no GWG. I can keep 12. I lose my 2nd best player as voted by GM's. I assume this is pat Kane so I will move fwd without him in my calculations.
The guys in my league are experienced and guys with hits PIMs blocks etc do not slip down far, these are targeted as easy categories to win points. Lastly this is my final year of Crosby. I'd like to win this year as he obviously is a huge guy in all leagues.

Are the 7 fwds here clearly the ones to keep?

    Keep
    C: Crosby Backstrom RNH
    RW: Johanssen Kessel Pavelski
    LW: Schwarz

Lose: Little, Callahan, Marchand ( i won't go deeper than this)

    Other keepers:
D: Phanuef OEL Letang (I have sought advice on this in relevant forum)
    G: Bobrovsky Niemmi
Free keepers based on leage rules: R Smith, Drouin, J Gibson

Probably on tee with those 7. There could be a slight case to be had for Marchand cause of PIMs but his lack of PPP and lower SOG than Schwartz puts a nail in the coffin.

That being said, don't be surprised if Kessel or Backstrom gets named your 2nd best player over P Kane! (I wonder if this will stir a crazy debate taking the thread on a tangent!)

I think you keepers are spot on, you've got a good team, if you draft well you should be right there fighting for the championship

Yeah I think you have it right, I could see Callahan over Schwartz with hits in there but keeping 4 RW's isn't a good strategy.

I would keep Phaneuf over RNH. With Hits/PIM/Blocks, he is a beast on the backend with tremendous value. Bobrovsky would also be a consideration over RNH for me.

You are right, I read that wrong. I stopped at others and thought those were some of the additional choices he had. That makes much more sense now. No need to change what has already been stated then.

Thanks guys. Losing Cally hurts my hits but can be replaced a little easier than schwarz's 65 points per year for next decade.
