It really depends on your options, but I think he is worth owning. Solid upside and already playing effectively against men in a quality league.

Depending on how long the Rangers can keep their core together it might still be a couple years before Buch gets a chance to produce.

From what I've read, the Rangers think he might be able to jump in their line up at the end of this year. He's the best player of his KHL team right now. If I remember correctly, he already said that he is not coming to play in the AHL. I could see him in a 3rd line role.

Yes, it appears to be quite likely. He has not extended his KHL contract and has said in the past that he will come over when he feels ready.

He could be with the Rangers before the end of this season.

3rd line role could very easily mean below-average production for a while. The issue is a lot of people are waiting on this guy in leagues that are not overly deep.
