3.3M for a guy who never hurts you while he's on the ice. Solid third line Center who is never going to ask for Jordan Staal money.

    I like it.

This is the type of contract Dave Bolland should have received.

Solid signing for a quality 3rd line guy.

Not a bad contract for what he brings

A little more than I'd pay him, but I guess it's alright. I find Sutter a little overrated due to his name.

That's an alright deal for a 3rd line center.

For Snerious. Who would you rather Bennett? Dupuis? If the kid earns it, give him a shot.

I already drafted him, but had zero expectations for him to play this year.

I would still have zero expectation for Kapanen to play in the NHL this year; give him another couple seasons. My line combos would look like this:

    Kunitz-Crosby-Bennett // OR (Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis)
    Downie-Malkin-Hornqvist // OR (Bennett-Malkin-Hornqvist)
    Spaling-Sutter-Dupuis // OR (Spaling-Sutter-Downie)
    Comeau-Goc-Adams

I think that's a pretty solid lineup. I think D pairs are going to be pretty much the same as Ratataylor said, although I see Dumoulin/Harrington getting some looks too. Too bad Scuderi can't really be moved for anything of value right now.

Same here in the UHL. I am not expecting him to make it past 9 games.

I would certainly bet against Kapanen playing the full year in Pittsburgh.

I don't expect him to make it or play, but keep in mind I said my ideal lineup I would also prefer Scuderi to be nowhere in the D pairs, but I didn't see a way around that.
