    Default Would you deal Stamkos?

Hey guys i was looking for help and was wondering if you guys would deal stamkos. I am in a 14 team dynasty keep all league and i feel my team is short on depth. Many team have been asking on the avialability of stammer and i have gotten a few offers. First this is my team and stat cats

Scoring Cats: G, A, PTS, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG - W, SV%, SO, GAA, SVS Made

    C- Stamkos/Monahan/Strome
    Lw-Nash/J.Staal/Zuccarello
    Rw-Tarasenko/Nichuskin/Hudler
    F-Gaudreau/Bickell/Vermette
    D-Letang/S.Jones/Maatta/A.Greene/Dekeyser
    G-Halak/Ramo
    Bn-Reimer/Gionta/Greiss/Santorelli/Setoguchi

    Top Specs- Horvat/Burakovsky/Sam Reinhart/Nurse

So far i have gotten these offers

    Stamkos for Pacioretty+Pietrangelo

Stamkos for Seguin +1st round pick in 2015 entry Draft

Stamkos for Lando+Barkov+something small forgot what

My first instincts were to not accept any of them. Is this the right move? also for anyone ever seen a stamkos trade what should he being going for?

    cheers

    Lando = Landeskog I assume?

    100% No to Pac/Piet
Soft maybe on the Seguin + 1st. I'd try to get another useful player out of it.
No to Lando+Barkov. Solid multi cat potential but not enough to entice I don't think.

Your depth isn't bad for a 14 team league, especially once you get Burkovsky and Reinhart going. Trading quality for quantity in fantasy hockey is rarely a good call.

The only reason Seguin is close is if you deem him to be an 85+ point player, Stammer at 95ish, then the 1st + another good asset can pull that together.

    Just my opinion.

I wouldn't move my Stamkos for any of those deals.

The only interesting one is Seguin plus a 1st round pick, but I would need something more coming my way. Is the 1st in 2015 a top-2 pick or not a chance?

Agree with above. Also I think your depth is fine, it is just young.

Sort of my thinking too. I'd consider trading him for Seguin and the 1st if you can also get a key defensive upgrade as well. I'm not talking a 5 point upgrade though. I'd want to see a solid D-man coming back that gives you a big upgrade over your bottom guys.

Also, is this head-to-head? How many do you start at each position? Daily set?

If you can add Reimer to your side and get a quality G upgrade, I would do

    Stamkos + Reimer

    for

Seguin, decent starting goalie, 1st round pick 2015

I'm not really sold on Halak, Ramo and Reimer won't start, so you could get in tough on your goalies if Halak goes down (which he's shown a tendency to do)

I wouldn't move Stammer for any of those deals either.

Like others, the Seguin deal is the best. I'm somewhat worried that Stammer slides back to a 80-90 point player and not a 90-100 point player. That puts him very close to Seguin. I'd stress Stammer's elite production and see if you can get something else with Seguin and 1st (only if that 1st has a good chance at being top 2).

I like this reasoning. And the actual position of the 2015 1st has a big influence.

That sucks, but I would still do the deal I suggested if you can get it. Your goalies don't give me a ton of confidence.

Everyone can be traded, the price has to be right, I would also want another piece in deal. How high will 1st rounder be? You're also not the one wanting to make the move and you have the best player.
in fact Spezza may cut into some of Sequins ice/time points.
If you can get something else added then i could do the deal.

I doubt it. Seguin might not get the same amount of points this year as he did last year, but it won't be because Spezza is there now.

    I wouldn't do it.

You want to be the guy on the other end trying to poach the Stamkos' around the league, not the guy giving him up because you have weak depth at that given moment.

I would only do the Seguin deal if someone offers a Top D with it, and the first pick.

Never deal a Top player without really having way too much in return.

I wouldn't trade Stamkos for any of these deals.. if the Seguin owner is serious, he would have to add 2 more players to this deal.. The middle of the pack 1st rounder is laughable at this point..
