I'm gonna go with you. Every team on this list has a flaw somewhere....A and B are weak to average in goal, while D and E are set in goal with "meh" skaters. You have a good balance, and havign Crosby doesn't hurt. I'm actually a fan of Holtby this season, and not just because of Trotz and Korn....he really turned his season around late in the year once Kolzig quit messing with his game. I like him as a buy low for next season, for totes.

Group B is a very close second....just depends on their goalies. I think potentially that group could beat yours out, but it's definitely close.

I agree that Holtby can be a big surprise. I've had opportunities to replace him but in a cap league hes potentially very valuable.

I had Zetterberg all along but originally had Datsyuk in my top 5.

I moved Getzlaf for Voracek and two 2nd round picks

I moved E Staal, M Rielly and both 2nd round picks for Ovi

Last season I won my pool I had a pretty decent lead for the majority of the year and found myself getting bored.

I began digging into some stats and noticed that there was a direct correlation between each teams top 5 forwards+top 2 goalies and their position in the standings.

This lead me to believe that in my pool format a strong core of top players will carry you a long way. I also noticed that the bottom 7 forwards and Dmen on each team sort of balance out across all teams.

So i guess you can say i gave up a bunch to get a strong core.

I like them in the following order...

Group C Powerhouse Forwards, and Goalies tend to flucatate. I think the X factor is Holtby if he gets back to form this team will win it
Group B Young Talented forwards who could all clip 80 points, some 90 points. Again the X factor is Niemi does he retain the starter position?
Group D Goalies are solid, and owning a top 5 forward (Malkin) is nice for forward production
Group E Again really solid tending, needs a bounce back from Staal and Spezza/Neal to fit in well in there new teams to have a chance at contending
Group A If he had the core all year last year then he was proberly contending, needs the same result from all his players again this year
    12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.

    F: Kucherov, K.Connor, J. Hughes,, J.Guentzel, A.Svechnikov,
    D: Q. Hughes,
    G:Bobrovsky

Nicely done! Your core is as solid as it gets.
