    This would my ranking as well. Bennett is playing in NHL already and has a good chance for top-6 minutes. Solid upside there. Laughton has better multi-cat potential (hits, PIM, FOW) but somewhat lower points potential. Quite close to NHL as well. Burakovsky is far away and don't project to be multi-cat forward.

    I would take Laughton, Bennett, the Burakovsky.

    Laughton strikes me as a guy (and this was confirmed in an interview I heard recently with him) who will lead a team in work ethic and drive, and is quite intelligent on the ice as well. Any kind of hockey pool that is multicat is going to absolutely love him when he gets rolling. Maybe only a smaller marginal upside than the other 2 players, but guys who work as hard as he does always get a slightly higher bump on my lists because that hard work often eventually translates into production.

    Is he? Everything I've read says he's ready to compete for a spot this coming season.

    I'm guessing he'll end up in Hershey, but he can't be too far off.

    I think Burakovsky is closer to getting a look as well. Most likely, a long look in camp with some time with Hershey. He could be a call-up for minutes later in the year. That being said, I think Laughton will give you return on more of the random cats like PIM, +/-, and hits any time soon than Burakovsky.

    I am a Bennett believer so I would agree with the rankings:

    Bennett
    Laughton
    Burakovsky
    6Team/Points Only H2H Keep: 37+3goalies Start: 13F/6D/2G
    FWD = G(2), A(1), PP/SH(+1), GW(+2), SHOG(1)
    DEF = G(3), A(2), PP/SH(+1), GW(+2), SHOG(1)
    GOAL = W(3), OTL(1), SO(+2), SV(.10)

    FOR: Malkin Ovechkin Kessel Stepan Gaborik Zetterberg Carter Vanek Pacioretty Duchene Skinner Lupul Hornqvist Perron Semin Okposo Byfuglien Granlund Bennett Strome Bjugstad Nichushkin Yakupov Galchenyuk Grigorenko Kuznetsov Kucherov Etem Burakovsky

    I share this opinion 100%.

    Besides, I dont think Burakowsky is that far away. But, I would still rank him 3rd. To me, Beau Bennett is head and shoulders #1.

    Thanks for the links. He might be closer than I realized but I still think he's atleast two full seasons away from making it to NHL.

    These are the types of threads I'd love to look back on in about 3-4 seasons to see where they are and how we all did.

    Bennett has an nhl job but I've been adamant on these boards about not touching him because of his injury history.

    Laughton will be a good category filler but not a big scorer. Stats wise I'd look at a guy like Hanzal.

    Burakovsky I believe is the best scorer of the bunch, but he won't be in the NHL this year. I think both he and Laughton will be full time NHL'ers in 2015-2016.

    Give me:

    Burakovsky
    Laughton
    Benett
