Default Ranking Sekac, Lehtera, Kontiola, Lindstrom, Komarov

A group of KHL players are shifting to the NHL this season.

How would you rank these guys from a points only fantasy perspective.
I would rank as follows I think

    1. Lehtera
    2. Sekac
    3. Kontiola
    4. Komarov
    5. Lidstrom

Any thoughts appreciated. Did I miss anybody

I own Komarov in one league so I'm interested in the responses. If we don't get more people chiming in here then I'll dig in myself and see what I can come up with.

My initial hunch is that most of these guys won't do much of anything.

I am thinking Lehtera will have the best shot but with the Stastny signing looks like he will be 3rd line center and might struggle

Lehtera and Sekac have the best chance of being top 6 on their respective teams, but I peg them all to be third liners to begin, and breaking into the top 6 will be tough for all of them. Komarov is all but slated to be on the Leafs 4th line for the next couple of years.

I think Komarov could get some chances higher in the lineup. He's making 2.95 million....that's not 4th line money.

Tarasenko has apparently played with Lehtera before, so that's a big possibility in St. Louis. As Vlady goes more and more beast mode everyone is going to reap benefits.

Lehtera has the most offensive upside, followed by Sekac. Komarov will have virtually zero fantasy value in a points only league. I'd steer clear of Kontiola, I doubt he sticks w/ the Leafs. And Lidstrom retired.

Pretty sure he meant Joakim Lindstrom.

If we're talking points only I doubt any of these guys will have much value to be honest, except in really deep leagues. Their value is going to come from the peripheral stats.
