He's probably back up on the team when rosters expand, then just want the bullpen/bench spot in the meantime going into a heavy series against the Os.

Sadly I think that’s from last yr around the end of August I think. You can tell he doesn’t have the long hair when he turns to look at his magnificent right arm.

Not a surprising move at all. Nice to have Navarro back, will be interesting to see how Gibbons uses the Catcher spot if we are able to re-add Thole September 1st, if so that would give us 3 catchers does Gibby go with the Estrada-Navarro combo and the Dickey-Thole combo leaving Martin to catch the other 4. Also, this means that Thole can't be on the playoff roster (not that that was ever a real threat anyways).

    Yup.

Back at it again tonight. Curious to see how Sanchez does now that he's back.

There was a bit of a stir last night when Goins got pulled from his game in AAA...people thought he'd been traded but he's just being called out while Barney is away for personal reasons. Hope everything is ok with him.

What’s your playoff rotation like if you guys had to choose?
Happ, Sanchez, Estrada, Stroman I think would be mine.

You get Martin Catching, Catching, DHing, Catching, Catching if it works that way and Dionner works well with Estrada again.

I think it depends how well Estrada steps up in the next month. If he goes his sub 3ERA self, he starts the playoff series I think.

Agreed. Liriano becomes a lefty in the bullpen. RA becomes a left(y) off the roster (that was a terrible attempt at a joke).
The over could very well change due to ballparks, opponents lineups, if we have to play a wildcard game, etc. I'm good with them in almost any order.

So far the following callups have been announced. I assume Goins' was already a call-up with Barney's absence...

Outfielder Dalton Pompey, left-hander Matt Dermody and right-handers Ryan Tepera and Danny Barnes are expected to join the expanded Toronto Blue Jays roster Friday, according to multiple industry sources.

Barring an injury, Bo Schultz and Aaron Loup aren’t eligible to be recalled until after the triple-A season ends Sept. 5 because they haven’t been down in Buffalo on option for 10 days.

Dermody is the really interesting one. He's risen through the ranks really fast this season going from A ball all the way to AAA. Would be really nice to have another lefty out of the pen. But he seemed to struggle a little bit during his time with Buffalo.
