Just as a clarification... I actually am interested in more information on the guide.

I intended this as a serious thread.

When he actually posts about hockey? Absolutely. I've read many a fine post compliments of P7 and I applaud that kind of insight.

But see penguins live in the south pole, and since the southern hemisphere has opposite seasons from us it is currently winter there. That is why the he must grow a warm fluffy coat to protect him from the harsh elements. Perhaps as the regular season approaches and the warm weather returns he will shed his fluff and get back to the business of quality once again.

Yup, and I buy it every year.
And the fact that I haven't seen it publicly listed yet makes me think that maybe it wouldn't be ready by August 1st.
If you want Dobber to verify, you can, but I wrote him to tell him this was my reasoning for asking.
I didn't want to put him on the spot for an August 1st delivery.
He's had the site to maintain lately, which has been glitchy.

Kind of wanted an answer on when the guide would be ready without mentioning the usual date.

On another note, given your stated opinion of only wanting to see posts dealing with fantasy hockey and hockey and general, given that this thread is about one of the best fantasy hockey guides available for purchase, I think it firmly falls in the category of "a thread about fantasy hockey".

The guide comes out Aug 1st, it always comes out Aug 1st, it's just another superfluous thread like so many others as of late
