A bit of narcissism. How did my draft go?

Just about done the inaugural draft for the league and team in my sig

I recognize I'm weak at centre and in goal. I basically have up on FOW's from the beginning and chose to focus on the other categories. In goal we only start 2 a week. So I actually considered not drafting a starter and going with just backups. But I figure I need 50 starts min a year (average if 2 a week) and Dubnyk and greiss might get that alone. If Elliot can put up great numbers in St Louis I think I will be golden. Before you ask, the guy (Praba) who took Allen took him about 3 picks after I took Elliot. So probably not worth my while to try and acquire him.

My likely goal is to try and acquire another depth centre. Although if Arcobello makes the oilers it might solve my problem.

I picked 11th overall in the draft

What does everyone think of my team? Any suggestions? Preferably not from the guys in the league haha

Hmm. I'm guessing it won't really matter as I've already got the league all wrapped up lol. Being serious it was a hard draft to rate. I look at my team and go from yeah pretty good, to meh, to hmm depending on cats etc maybe I won't be so great.
I'm not used to the fow hits blks etc so I think its a bit of a crap shoot in h2h. It will be interesting for sure though

I really like your d, great multi-cat potential. Your wings are also deep, and again nice job on the multi-cats there. I tend to agree on your goalies being weak, Elliot being the best of your group and he's not a guy I'd want to rely on as my #1. If you can I'd be looking to add some depth there. Your C is ok, Mac is a great pickup and Hanzal is good all around value, and I'm sure you can shore it up with the wire and some trades. Overall I expect you can be a contender, although to be a serious threat you may need to shore up your keepers.

In a ROTO league, I'd rate this as an average team.
In a H2H league, I'd rate this as an above-average team with a really good chance to be top 4 in a playoff run (due to strength in offensive cats).

I have to be honest. With the goaltending there I'd be pretty nervous heading into the new season. You should do well on the peripheral stats, but not sure you're going to have enough 'points punch' to keep up.

Dubnyk? You know he's like fourth in the Canadien's goalie depth chart? Even Fucale seems to have a better chance at getting a call up.

Regardless, with 75% of OFF categories, i like your team alot.

dubnyk was a UFA and signed on to be the backup in Arizona.

I wouldn't worry about it. Not sure if Dubnyk even knows where he's going to be playing next season.

I echo what the others are saying here, you left your goalies too long.
You have great depth at every position except goal. Fortunately goalie cats are only 1/4 of your total. But I would still try to land a better #1 or you're basically giving up any hope of competing for those
