Miller for Gormley + McCarron + 5th + Brodin

Is this a fair trade. The other team is rebuilding and i am in the compete now mode. My league is a league where only 2 goaltenders stats count towards your record so miller would have to out do one of holtby or bernier/luongo to contribute.

i think miller rebounds, and it looks like the leafs will be awful this year, but he won't out-do luongo and holtby.

It doesn't feel like you're giving up much at all so i'd absolutely take the shot at Miller. His stats should be decent enough, but if he isn't outplaying your other three goalies you can just flip him for help somewhere else. I think it's a safe investment to carry 4 starters in this case.

You're not giving up anything special, although the 5th overall pick is nice. Make the deal, and if you decide later you could always flip Miller for something similar back in return. You might be able to get a proven scorer or two in return for Miller, whereas you may not get a proven scorer for the package above depending on the GM and team needs that you're talking to. Take the proven vet and move along.
