Oilers have better odds than the Flames - yes!

In the end these are betting odds, and not hockey odds, so I don't really know how to interpret them. I tried betting with fake money for a couple months to see if I was any good at it. Turns out I am most certainly not, so I am glad I never used real money.

Don't mind Columbus at 33/1 odds.... some of the teams that are given better or the same odds are long shots to even make the playoffs.
Vancouver at 28/1 is probably the worst one on the list

I would have said Toronto 40/1 and Ottawa 40/1

Ottawa - Spezza to Chiasson, add Legwand, Anderson to bounce back with big year (take it to the bank)

Toronto - add Komarov, McClement to Santorelli, add Kontiola, Gunnarsson to Polak

I Toronto a small upgrade, Ottawa about even or slightly down. And I don't count Bolland leaving, unless we're discussing medical staff - he hardly played.

Although not yet released, I'd say the best general team bet will be New Jersey to make the Eastern "playoffs".
I think with Schneider playing a full slate, they can pull it off. They just need two of the 3-9 teams in the East to have a decimating injury or two
