With a TB roster stacked with young elite forwards, it is hard for me to say who will stand in top 6 for year to come.
The dobberprospect list ranked Kucherov at like 7 OV and Connolly at 50OV or something... Do you guys see Kucherov outshine Connolly ? thx

It still baffles me that Connolly seemingly got passed by so many different player the past two years. If there was ever a guy who could use a fresh start... I hope he gets traded this summer. Even last year he had a great camp but still started in the AHL.
If last year was any indicator I guess you gotta go with Kucherov, but Im still holding out hope for Connolly.

Kucherov. As evidenced by last season, Kucherov has passed Connolly within the organization. And I wouldn't recommend keeping a player in the hopes that he gets traded.

I'd go with Kucherov. They promote him last year because he was too good for the AHL.

Another vote for Kucherov - I think Connolly will always be too good for the AHL, but never quite good enough to stick on an NHL roster. At least not in a top six role...

Kucherov AINEC. This could be a huge season for Kucherov. Best case scenerio he could be riding shotgun with Jonathan Drouin. Worst case scenerio he plays on the 3rd with Namstinkov (maybe). Well I guess worst case scenerio he bolts back to russia and signs a long term deal then I would be pissed

Kuuuuuucherov! It's not even closer in my opinion. Tampa believes in Kuch and he'll be top 6 in short order, if not right away.

I don't have faith in Connolly succeeding in Tampa Bay anymore.. I would pick Kucherov over Connolly for the long haul, but Connolly may be able to crack another NHL teams roster soon, he is only 22..

Connelly will prolly play for a different team at some point this year. He will need to clear waivers this season and he definitely won't make it through waivers. I'd go Kucherov tho as the safer bet.

Kucherov for me, Connelly needs a change of scenery but I think he can still be a contributor, just not in TB.

Kucherov easily. In his short time in the league you can see that he will stick no problem, it's just a matter of getting his feet wet. With Connolly he looks like something will have to click like a light switch for him to look like he belongs in the NHL.
