Until i read Dobber's assessment of this signing, I had no idea that Heatley was only 33. I just assumed he was older based on his decline. Like Dobber said, usually the decline starts in the mid 30's. Really surprised me....what the heck happened?

He has had shoulder problems since his accident. Made his shot weaken. Plus the knee injuries have slowed his skating.
