This leaves me fairly nervous about him going forward. He's not the biggest guy and if it's the same knee it casts a pretty big doubt on whether he's recovering properly. And if it's the other knee, then we may have found his kryptonite? I hope that's not the case, he's really a fun player to watch.

I would be a bit more worried than that, especially if he's on your team. Taking a month off and then tweaking it shouldn't happen. Really SJ should have let him sit the camp out for more strengthening... nothing but negative things could happen to him, he didn't need to prove anything.

Talked with #SJSharks Hertl. He says tenderness in knee (yes, same knee) strictly because he had been off ice more than a month. No worries.
Doesn't sound too serious.

Or he's an irresponsible 19 year old that survives on talent and needs to take training more seriously which keep his ligaments in sports shape and not barstool shape.
