Justin Schultz is my quick answer.

Justin Faulk has a chance if he gets better PP time in Carolina, but he may be leaned on too heavily defensively (like Doughty) to get there.

A full season from Eric Gelinas could get close too.

    Brodie
    Leddy's got a chance
DeHaan has the pedigree, but likely won't do it
Trouba, especially with Buff moved to forward
Gelinas, especially if he's up all year

I really like the TJ Brodie mention, and another guy I like (maybe not for 40) is Connor Murphy. He could flirt with 30 points, with really solid peripherals.

No reason to per se, but a little more PP time would do wonders for him. I think he's still a very solid investment at this time.

Agreed. Considering his PP usage, and the group of forwards he had to play with, his 27 points last year look pretty solid.

Patrick Roy loves him some Nick Holden - mentioned him in a press conference over the weekend as part of his "core" defence along with EJ and Barrie.

He saw similar PP time to Jake Muzzin (just over 2 minutes per game) last year and should be a fixture on PP2 this year as well.

With all the weapons the Avs have up front this year, Holden could surprise.

    Lindholm has a good shot.
Vatenan is still a year or 2 away but he is fun to watch.
T.J. Brennen has awesome AHL stats last year but I think that's where it'll stay. He hasn't been able to translate it into the bigs and he is a defensive liability.

    He's like a M.A Bergeron 2.0 in every sense.

He's better at scoring but he's also much worse at defence. It's a crazy combo.
