Question Reinhart vs Draisaitl vs Bennet

In a POINTS ONLY comparison. Who do you think has the highest chance on reaching the most points. Who do you think will be the higher point producing forward????

Now that we know which teams they are on.... someone give me some insight on this!

    THANKS!

It's anybody's guess which guy ends up with the most points or is the best player 5 yrs from now. However it is hard to ignore the firepower that surrounds Draisaitl when compared to what Reinhart and Bennett have to work with. Not saying he's the best player but the teammates don't hurt.

yes i was leaning towards this choice as well. Im choosing #2 in my league. Ekblad is going #1..... So I have to choose between the three..... Draisaitl has been looking good so far

So much info about these three out there that it comes to gut feeling.

Id take Drasaitl myself. Hes got a legitimate shot at a roster spot- potential powerhouse offensively. The comparables (Kopitar) are very intriguing and hes probably cheaper than the other two.

Bennett surely has the highest upside- probably have to wait though.

Rreinhart seems like the most complete player-probably the surest bet to contribute- but maybe the lowest ceiling-m at least in regards to this list. i kind of see a kesler/ Mikko Koivu type of trajectory- could be wrong though!!

There was a reason why the top 5 in the draft were really a mish-mash prior to draft day. There was no clear cut #1 on that day and its hard to sit here today and really know who will be the #1 in a few years either.

I dont think knowing their teams really changes much for me. All three teams these guys went to were looking for scoring down the middle.

Personally I like Bennett the most of those three for pure points and offensive upside.

I'd probably go Reinhart as BUF is compiling some nice assets. Don't forget they're likely a lottery team so will add another blue chip prospect.

Draisaitl second for me unless he can usurp Nuge and become the 1C. Especially if he's the more defensively responsible C.

I'd go Reinhart here, I think his offensive ceiling is criminally underrated. He's not flashy but his smarts will allow him to succeed at any level. I haven't had the chance to see Bennett live but I've seen both Reinhart and Draisaitl numerous times. If you're waffling between Reinhart and Draisaitl, I'd confidently choose Reinhart.

The problem with that for me is i already own grigorenko who is on buffalo.

and if i choose Reinhart, theres a high chance I will be in the draft lottery next year so my chances on landing mcdavid / eichel are high.... The problem is I dont want a 3rd buffalo sabre on my team....

Thats why I was leaning towards Draisaitl/Bennet........

Draisaitl is surrounded by a higher level of talent....

Bennett has raw talent but he's on calgary with less talent around him .....

    arrghhh so tough to decide!!

I would go Draisaitl, Bennett and Reinhart. I would say Bennett is a close second. I'm giving a little edge to Draisaitl because of his surounding cast.

Stick a gun to my head and I take Bennett, though all three could give you a mess of points.

Lol if it makes you feel better I don't think that there's a wrong decision.

If all things are equal I agree it's nice to spread out your prospects around but I don't think all things are equal. I'd go BPA everytime because so much changes year to year.

That being said there have been votes for all three in this thread so go with your gut if necessary. Another option if you value all three so equally is to try and move back a couple of spots and pick up some more assets.

I picked 2nd and 3rd in my multi-cat dynasty keeper's prospect draft, and I was able to snag Bennett/Draisaitl. I would take Bennet here, as I think he's got the highest upside of the three. My second pick would be Draisaitl, and if he improves his skating he could easily be the best of the three.
