Default Winners and losers from a players perspective

Who are your top 5 winners and losers from a fantasy standpoint after the free agent frenzy today? Basically, what players gained value and who took a hit.
    12 team points only keeper (G = 1, A = 1, W = 2, SO = 2)
Dress 6 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goalies, weekly starts

    Winner:

    Holtby
    Ehrhoff
    Brad Richards
    Turris/Zibanejad
Whoever gets to play with Granlund/Vanek

    Loser:
Markstrom: His value went down like crazy today.
Schwartz (or any C on STL)
Niskanen : He's not going to produce like he did in PIT
    Jussi Jokinen

I think a lot of the big winners, fantasy-wise, will be young players stepping into expanded roles created by departing veterans.

    1. Young Ottawa forwards gaining ice time.
    2. Brent Burns and Matt Irwin possibly getting more Pp time in San Jose.
    3. Christian Ehrhoff.
    4. Whichever Boston forward gets Iggy's minutes.
    5. Marty Havlat possibly reinvigorated with Czech buddies.

    Biggest fantasy losers
    1. Karri Ramo
    2. Nino Neiderreiter bumped out of Wild top six.
    3. Bjugstad and Barkov losing minutes to Dave Bolland
    4. Both young Vancouver goalies.
    5. Cody Eakin.

Peng: How do you figure Niederreiter is bumped out? Parise - Koivu - Pominville, Vanek - Granlund - Niederreiter. Who should be in his place?

Absolutely. Vanek is gone, moulson is gone and the isles didn't sign a big-na,e winger. B. Nelson is going to start on the wing with Tavares and Okposo. Besides the fact that he is a very good player already, that is a prime spot for a breakout.

i also think nino is in the top 6 and coyle is out. he is much better suited to an offensive role.

    Charlie Coyle >> Nino.
My opinion (obviously) but I see Coyle as a much better fit as compliment to the top five.

    Winners: Everyone who was overpaid.
    Losers: Everyone who was underpaid.

To me, the biggest winner was Hemsky. He gets to go Dallas and be on the second line straight away. He plays with Spezza, whom he had chemistry with in Ottawa. Win-win.

The biggest loser is Andrew Shaw. He had a chance of being the number two centre in Chicago until Richards signed. There's always next year.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

I think Shaw will always be a 3C, he's a mutt and I love him but his style fits with bottom 6 grinders.

    Winners:

    1) Ehrhoff - From the outhouse to the penthouse
    2) Stastny - Going back home to the Lou and making the Blues a team up there with Kings/Hawks
    3) Richards - Only a one year deal but a better team and you get to center Kane
    4) Ryan Miller - Getting paid in the Escalade
    5) Hemsky - Sign with a team who has a shot at the playoffs with your old friend Spezza

    Losers:

    1) Eddie Lack - Thought he was going to take the reigns
    2) Patrick Bergland - You just resigned and to the bottom six you go
    3) Jussi Jokinen - Well at least there is no state tax in Florida
    4) Jonas Hiller - Welcome to Calgary, prepare to be shelled and be very cold
    5) John Tavares - Will he ever get any help?

Schwartz isn't a center. He averaged half a faceoff win per game last season. The only down side of the Stastny trade for Schwartz and Tarasenko IMO is that they will lose PP time to him.
