Even though he had a nice playoff, he still wasn't getting all the PP time he'd need for that big of a jump.
I wouldn't count on the points jumping that considerably.

What do you see Jake Muzzin doing next year?
I feel he broke out in the playoffs in a big way and is destined for 10-12 goals 200+ SOG and 30+ Assists. What say you? Thanks again and I will Rep where I can!

Yeah I know I tend to get very excited! I just think the kings have a little more shooting luck next year given their low team on ice shooting percentage of 6% tied for 29th! That's right 29th! Tied with panthers and just above the sabers! Combine a increase in team shooting percentage with an increase in ice time that I feel will also occur for Muzzin and thus is born my lofty 40 point season.

The Kings play a much different game during the regular season.. Expecting 40+ points from Muzzin is a rather lofty expectation in my eyes.. 30-35 would be quite a season for Muzzin I think..

if he slots into 3-4 role than more like 25-30 is realistic

I'm just giving support to my prediction, you guys can tell me if I'm finding facts with very biased glasses on. But I think most would agree the Kings and Blues play a similar possession style offense and do it very well. Yet the Blues were 11th overall in team shot percentage and produced three top end scoring defenseman. The kings were 29th in shot percentage and their leading defender pumped in 37 points (Doughty). I don't see him beating Doughty in any fantasy relevant stat next season. Goals, assists, points, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, Hits, BKS. I say that because we haven't seen Doughty top 40 points since Sutter came in and if anyone is going to hit those numbers it's Drew, not Muzzin.
