    Seems like a good deal either way.

    He's worth that term and salary and now he's even more desirable by teams because he's locked up. If St. Louis trades for Spezza/Kesler/Thornton I imagine he'll be a piece going back.

    The Perron trade was brutal. They traded the wrong guy and ended up moving Stewart later in the year anyways.
    Armstrong started strong on the job, but has been very underwhelming since.
