    Another runaway. How Chara finished better than Weber makes no sense to me, Weber was much better this year.

    Surprised that Giordano didn't finish higher.

    I too would have given more votes to Weber than Chara.....looking at what he has done with that type of team in Nashville is fantastic.....

    Chara getting votes due to his reputation. I didn't watch a lot of Bruin games but from what I saw, he was not the 2nd best dman in the league.

    Another example of how being in a popular market can boost voting. Could even argue that Rask received the same benefit in the Vezina voting.

    I agree with this. Clearly people are voting for him for what he's done in the past.

    I was thinking about this. Chara played a lot of time at forward on the power play this season. Since this is the trophy for the best defenseman in the league, should this work be considered in when voting? I guess in a way it could be seen as good since it proves he's versatile.
