    Default Help Selecting a Keeper

Need some quick advice on picking a keeper going into next year. Who do you think will have the best season?

    1 keeper from...
    Ryan Johansen
    Gustav Nyquist
    Ondrej Palat
    or
    Mats Zuccarello

So far I think I'm leaning towards Johansen. I think he had a breakout year and I expect the Blue Jackets to be even better next year but I'm open to other suggestions. Scoring categories are in the sig.

    Thanks fellas

Nyquist would be my 2nd choice but I wouldn't have to hesitate to take RyJo over Nyquist here.

    Johansen for sure.

I've been pumping his tires for a couple years. It was good to see his breakout this year but I think he still has a fair amount more to give.

Johansen for sure. Nyquist's S% was way too high to maintain and he got the majority of his points with Detroit's two stars injured. He'll see less ice time with them healthy. RyJo is the go to guy in CLB and will continue to see top minutes and PP time.

    Tough call.

Easily strike out Zuccarello as good as a multicat guy as he is.

After that it's tough as a lot of people think Palat will do extremely well with Stamkos and he blew the Quebec league out of the water after going undrafted as an 18 year old.

At the end of the day I'm giving a slight edge to Johansen over Nyquist, as I feel Columbus is trending upwards while Detroit treads water if not worsens.

With your categories, it's Johansen by a country mile. Nyquist is a good pure scorer, but he's not multi-cat threat. Johansen is definitely your guy here, no doubt about it. Johansen was close to a Top-20 player OVERALL with those categories last season.
