I posted this in a thread a couple of days ago, and I stand by what I said:

"This may look like I am plugging this guy as he is on my keeper roster, but I really think that Tomas Tatar may surprise many people this year, especially if he can land some all important Top 6 ice time & PP time too. He led Grand Rapids in scoring in the playoffs two years ago, and was consistently around 0.70 ppg in his three seasons in the AHL. He has the tools, he just needs the ice time. He would certainly constitute a surprise if he scored 50+ points this year! and yet it isn't impossible."

I'm wondering if Read ever gets put in a spot to maximize his offensive abilities. He is good all-around and very versatile which works against him (at least so far) as he has yet to hit 50 points. I'm thinking I'd just gamble on Tatar's upside. Depends on the league format though.
