Agreed, I already posted how great the design is, but had to come back for another look.

Wow...That Blackjacks design is incredible. Glorybe, you need to design logos for some actual teams. Start local, build a portfolio, and work your way up. There are a lot of teams in a lot of fairly high leagues that don't have logos as good as that one.

Yeah, this is all really amazing stuff. I use the name "mounD" for everything on the internet at this point, so I'll be proudly using these logos for a looooong time. I can't wait to see the designs!!!

Just to be clear ... how many pictures will each of the teams be receiving? Is it just the one .jpg file with the logo / both jerseys? Or are there going to be separate .jpg files for each jersey (home, away) / logo?

Hampton’s Howl

Went with the obvious choice of a wolf as the main symbol for the logo, not much else that howls to choose from really, but stayed away from the usual "howling at the moon" silhouette - since it has been overdone.

The background shows a full moon with a silhouette of houses at the bottom which represent the Hampton's community.

The colours are the Minnesota Wild colours, with a different line pattern, as requested by CCouples who wanted a green in his logo & mentioned his brother works for the Wild, it was a pretty easy choice to use.
I picked the lettering for “Howl” to make it look like a shrieking sound when you look at it, similar to the sound of a howling dog.

Funky Daddy

Well ahh, glorybe the funks on me bobble!
That’s right, I am also a huge Bootsy Collins fan gfunkb7– username and all!

I will be straight- this was a very difficult logo. I flirted with a bunch of ideas including Bootsy, His shooting star guitar, an afro dude, the funky mothership, and even some crazy symbolism with a funky tie, before settling on George Clinton himself. Why Clinton? Well he is the epitome of a funk Daddy, crazy hair/Santa Clause beard, funk legend. Plus it looked the best.

Gfunkb7 asked for some neon in the logo, which is understandable with this content, and I tried to accommodate as much as I could in Clinton’s dreads, initially I tried to have some neon in the primary colours, but it was like a mushroom trip……..the bad kind, or worse yet a Rollerhockey jersey

The font is my favourite part of the logo, it is based after the look of the Parliament Funkadelic font used in all their marketing and albums.

I tried to keep the jersey colourful, and vibrant. I made the lines break apart to kind of mimic the Funky Daddy font, in the way it is sorta smashed up like a mirror.

In the end, it came out pretty good, I don’t think I could have done much better. Clinton’s face took a lot of time, and I played with his hair quite a bit. I was tempted to play around with the jersey colours and lines with more of a 70’s feel, but in the end I committed too much time already.
