By the way, can you add the link to the mock draft in the first post? It'd be nice to have a direct link there instead of having to scroll down to post #8ish.

Does any forum moderator want to give up their team? I don't currently have one.

Austin was afraid of having some teams without a writer drafting...and so he went to the mods. And accidentally overbooked. So I don't have a team at all (Ottawa's writer Nathan Martin is in after all)

I absolutely detest Perlini going to the Leafs. Just despise it.

Good player, but not top 10 IMO. He's an example of a guy I'd like to let another team take a chance on.

The guy is getting wayyyy overrated. He's a big player who can skate and has a nice shot but he's got a complete lack of intensity, very inconsistent, and floats a bunch. Not a fan. His numbers look nice but if you actually go into them, he had a massive September/October and then fell off to just under a PPG pace the very rest of the year. Then bombed in the playoffs, and was totally unimpressive in the U18. He was injured yes but that happened after he fell off the way over PPG pace.

And for the love of all things nice, if someone says "but Verghaeghe"...

A linemate is not a reason to pick a player.

I understand why he went this high but I disagree with it vehemently.

Hello everyone. I am Seth Brisendine, I live in Washington State, and I am the writer for the Pittsburgh Penguins on dobberprospects.com. The Penguins will be looking for a top-six winger in this draft, but we'll see who's available.

I dont know how the hell Nick Ritchie lasted until the 12th pick but he finally went right before I was going to select him for Washington.

Now I have to fall back to my next selection.

Nick Ritchie wasnt really someone that the Capitals needed, but he easily would have been my pick if he had fallen one more spot. BPA!

That being said, Fabbri isn't a bad consolation either and a better fit for what the Caps need long term anyways.

Are you applying to write for DobberProspects ?
I'm sure you could produce a nice mock draft, it would be interesting to see whose is actually closer to what happens on draft day.
