Default Nichushkin for my first pick this year

The title says it all. I will have, at worst, the second overall pick in this year's draft. Is Nichushkin a better bet than any of the forwards I could get otherwise from that high pick?

Who else could you get?? If its 2014 draft prospects, than yes Nichushkin is probably the best bet for points. Considering his linemates are Seguin and Benn and he's extremely talented.

Take him! Jagr thinks he'll be the best player in the world one day. Big praise from a legend.

Still burns my ass the Canucks took Horvat over him at 9th and they have needed someone on the RW with the Sedins since they drafted them.

That was quite hilarious haha. As a Flames fan I was loving it. Horvat is a good player, but not someone you trade Schneider for straight up lol

Nichushkin > any of Bennett, Reinhart, Draisaitl, Nylander, Ehlers, Dal Colle ... I would take this deal no question.

Nichushkin over anyone in the 2014 draft class...though from strictly a fantasy hockey perspective, Ehlers has the potential to be every bit as good as Nichushkin will be in terms of offensive production...though he carries slightly more risk with that projection than Nichushkin does.

    So yeah...Nichushkin.

I'll take the guy who's a 6'4" 220 manchild over a 6'0" 165-pound wizard who MIGHT be what we're reasonably confident Nichushkin will be.

Bad news guys, the deal fell through. He started questioning it himself and wanted MacKinnon instead of the 2014 first round pick (whomever that may be). No deal, no way.
