Wait, so Wang remains the majority owner for the next two seasons?? That seems bizarre. What happens between now and then in terms of decision-making on roster budgets, front office decisions, etc.? Seems like this could be two years' worth of continued debauchery, no? Granted, that's better than debauchery in perpetuity, but this still seems a little odd to me.

Here's what I think happened. I think like everything else in NY it's laced with corruption through and through. I think someone recognized that the value of the Isles playing in Nassau vs the Isles at Barclays center had an extra decimal point and that's what is driving all of this. Basically Wang was dealt 7-2 offsuit and then got 772 on the flop from the bottom of the deck so now its just a matter of how they split the pot.
