92 game farm eligible -

Jarrod Tinordi - MTL
My league counts hits and blocked shots. I like to hold a couple of guys on my farm team who could fill in this role in the future. In a salary cap league picking up guys like Orpik, etc who get lots of hits and blocks but don't do much else is sort of a waste of money. I prefer to find cheaper options like Jordie Benn, especially when they are eligible to be held on my farm team. We have 14 teams in our league with 30 player benches. Anyone have some suggestions on some hits and blocked shots defensemen who could be worth stashing on my farm team for the next couple of seasons? Our games played limitation for farm eligibility is 92 games played.

Yeah... read those articles by ericdaoust.
He does an awesome job on bang-for-your-buck players in cap leagues.
Stephen Johns is someone to keep an eye on.

Ryan Sproul might be a decent option for some lower end hits/blocks along with points options. Might be a season away from Detroit though.
Another guy that might fly under the radar in a lot of leagues is Zach Redmond. Sort of buried in Winnipeg but he's a UFA this year, and as a right handed dman, he'll likely be pursued by a team looking to fill a third line spot. He's put up some decent totals in a short sample size (19 hits, 19 blocks in 18 games) and he's put up some nice numbers on the Ice Caps points wise. He won't be a huge guy but he'll be a very nice cheap option in some deeper cap leagues.
Brayden McNabb, although I'd bet there are a few GM's in leagues who have him. If he gets time in LA, he could be another nice option in deeper cap leagues.
Also Scott Harrington. Although he'll provide nearly zero actual offense, he could be a sweet option for cheap hits/blocks once he makes the Penguins.
