Damn that top 6 is impressive, and all are under contract for a significant period. Lot's a young players just with no space means it shouldn't be too hard to use some of those players to address their defense. Man with all those forwards, I really don't understand why the Lightning passed on Seth Jones.

Yeah, but Drouin is the likely successor to StLouis. Drouin certainly appears to be legit - although time will tell.

And given that Hedman is a very legit #1 Dman, maybe TBay felt they could pass on Jones.

Having two of those guys would be outstanding, but I understand why they made the choice they made.
