    Default Wild signs Michael Keränen

    Confirmed with link.

If you're in even a little bit deeper link than a standard one, I suggest you go add Keränen before someone else does. I may be wrong, but I see him as Carl Söderberg type guy, he has potential to break into Wild roster straight from the camp and contribute almost immediately. Very creative and skilled guy with dangerous shot and is not afraid of get his hands dirty either.

How would you compare him with Simon Hjalmarsson?

Supposedly the Wild have agreed to return him to his Finnish club team if he doesn't make the Wild.

I'd say that Hjalmarsson is probably a bit safer bet to play in the NHL next season, but Keränen has higher upside.

And yeah, that's what his Finnish club HIFK announced a few minutes ago.

I've currently holding Jiri Sekac who, according to his agent, is exploring options in the NHL with "multiple teams" sending him offers.

How do you think Sekac compares to Keranen? Have you seen either play?

I've seen Keränen play since he was 16, last season approximately 50 games Sekac I've seen only in a handful of games. I'd say that Keränen is definitely more skilled than Sekac, but he's also three years older and Sekac has been promising too. I'd say they are pretty much even - like Hjalmarsson, but I'd probably lean slightly to Keränen if I'd have to choose between them.

I dropped Kosmachuk to take a flier on Keränen. Good move or dumb on my part? Added Kosmachuk for free in dynasty a few days ago so it's not really a loss.

Would love to hear an opinion on this move for my team. I like his upside.
