Fleury + Drouin for Hall ??

My Fleury and Drouin for Taylor Hall.

I would roll with Rask and Holtby next year. Hall gives me a solid offensive punch and his cap hit of $6m is very reasonable for a p/g player

Is it too risky?

Will Holtby bust??

I will be able to draft a Mason, Lehtonen, Khudobin as a backup plan

What if I'm able to draft a replacement. I can see 5 goalies being drafted in my league.

I should be able to get a Mason/Bobrovsky/Lehtonen to replace Fleury.

If you're pretty certain you could get Bobrovsky, I'd take him over Fleury in a second. I absolutely love the direction CBJ is headed.

Lehtonen I'm always weary of because of his weak groin but he's been a lot better the past few years. I also love Dallas' system so he's a very good option too.

As for Holtby, I think he'll have a good season. He took a step back this year, in some regards, but when you really analyze his stats, it wasn't really his fault. I like to look at Even Strength Sv% as a good indicator of how well a goalie plays - I basically assume it eliminates all the times his team hung him out to dry killing penalties.

So if this is basically Hall for Drouin, I'd go for it.

However, I'm a bit confused by this "No limit keeper"? You can keep as many players as you want? What makes you think Bob, Bishop, Bernier, Lehtonen etc will all be available? Why does your trade partner want Fleury over those other goalies?!?

His goalies are Niemi and Schneider. So he's not exactly confident going into next season. He doesn't have a very early pick so goalies like Bob and Bishop will be gone. Fleury is likely his best option. Also he owns Stamkos and would love to add Drouin to his roster.

If he's got Niemi and Schneider and is not confident, I can't see why Fleury also wouldn't leave him worried. I certainly wouldn't give up a Hall for Fleury and Drouin in this case. If I was worried about my goalies, I would be going for a surefire long-term goalie if I were trading Hall.

Has he offered you the deal and you are just asking if you should do it? If not, why are you so confident he will go for it.

Mason is an enigma... I quite like him in Philly but in an see why others are dubious...

Realistically ly I think you're over paying for Hall.. Will hall be better next year? Hell will the oilers be better next year?!?! If the goalie depth is that good in the draft what are your forward options???

i like fleury for wins and realistically he didn't have a bad post season just not a great one either but I think you're selling him at the wrong time

Hall is a potential 90+ point player, Fluery's future in Pitsburgh is unknown which is really his only saving grace fantasy wise (similar to halak).

then it comes down to Drouin and Hall, Hall is proven and Drouin is not.
I truly believe Drouin will be a great player BUT Hall is already a top 10 player arguably and Edm cant get any worse... only better.

I say try and do the trade if you can get a pick back or a fair +1
