    Good topic, should have its own thread. I agree, would be nice to end in may. Leaf fans don't have to worry as they are usually done early April, guess us Jet fans too (for now)

    I completely see your point.

    However - If I was an NHL player in North America, I would hate training camp in August......summer fun is the priority, let work/training camp start in September.

    I really liked the little intro they had to the game tonight where the Rangers players all introduced themselves and told us who their favorite player was growing up. Cool to hear how the little guys had similar idols in their youth (for Marty it was Mats Naslund, for Zucarello it was St. Louis!)
